  8. GerBear says:

I would disagree with the granola bar suggestion… most granola bars are almost pure sugar!

  9. SusanPowterRox says:

I would make out with ya!

I’m going to try to ask a couple girls if they want to make out with me to help me out on my diet….

  11. JustKylie says:

Well said. I myself have been binge eating almost every day for 2 weeks now..

  12. Enthir says:

I stopped smoking about 2months ago (Wow, 2 months already :O)and I have been eating about 4-5apples every day instead to fill the “void” or to get my quota of comfort. Thanks to this video I will be able to ask myself the hard question; “Am I eating this because I am bored?”
    Thank you again, Steve!

  13. UnspokenBE says:

Genius I have the same problem!! I’m not fat but I do eat when i have nothing to do! unfortunatly

  14. BodyPerformanceTV says:

Fruits or veggies are a great substitute. Healthy snacks like yogurt, pretzels, granola bar, half of a ham sandwich etc. would significantly reduce your daily calories. Even sugarless gum might satisfy your food craving. These changes alone would probably enough to start the weight loss process.

  15. jeeze86 says:

Wow Steve, you just summed up my complete problem in 1:32 min! At work, I’m sitting at a computer for about 10 hrs straight and I get sooo bored that I find myself getting up often to walk over to the snack fund or make myself a couple of hot pockets, and find myself consuming roughly 4000 calories in just those 10 hours alone. (50 pounds gained in two years…that would explain it) Do you have any suggestions on what I can do to “stimulate” myself while I’m sitting there, instead of eating

  16. funkless says:

I always comfort-eat. It’s just so nice to sit down with a bowl of soup or a plate of cake than do anything else.

  17. kerryoke68 says:

Really? 16!? I did not know that.

  18. at5vette says:

Got that right! But, in fact, the tongue is comprised of *16* muscles! OK, gotta’ go do some strength training now. :D :D :D

  19. kerryoke68 says:

Hey! Married people can still makeout. Hee hee
Of course, now when I kiss my husband I picture Steve as the personal trainer right there saying, “Ok good job! Don’t forget to breathe. Remember the tongue is a muscle too! 10 more minutes, then we do free weights.”
    jk Steve :)

  20. Superbastard says:

I need to keep that in mind. I used to eat a lot when I was bored. I still munch ocassionally.

  21. Horazio says:

Sometimes I eat because I’m bored…this is very bad.

  22. at5vette says:

Surely, you *must’ve* detected just a “slight” undertone of whit to my comments? :D

  23. lllpr0phetlll says:

i think chewing gum or mints helps. Also if you brush your teeth after you eat then you dont want to eat more food because your teeth are clean

  24. lllpr0phetlll says:

cant you make out with your wife?
