    @TVQUEEN01 if u want togain weight than add more good carbs to ur shake after the wrkout such as fruits like bananas, and peanut butter for the extra calories and more proteinand dont forget taste :)

    @lalaxio losing weight depends on calories, protein has less calories compared to carbs.

    protein foods take longer to digest so you should stave off hunger for longer with protein compared to carbs so no hunger = you ll eat less crap.

    you would need to eat a lot of protein to gain weight compared to eating carbohydrates. if you check the info on your food cans n such you will see that protein food have much less calories than carbs.

    Muscle weighs more than fat. Losing the fat, and gaining muscle….so initially you loose weight, then you start gaining weight. Which is muscle mass.

    protein will just help you recover from exercises.
    So you will gain muscle mass and lose body fat. Of course with workouts. So really it’s not like your gonna look annorexic from taking protein.

    protien in general is metabolically active, so the more lean muscle mass you have in your body, the more calories your body burns per day. Taking a suplement after workout helps you recover and builds up muscle. Pound of muscle burna bout 50 calories a day while a pound of fat burns about 2.

    and why would u go for low fat milk!? its tasteless!! Nature Puts Fat in Any Natural Foods!! Human very cleverly/well not really/ take it out!! U get fat in any matural food: meat fish eggs dairy olives nuts seeds avocados coconuts etc.. If Fat Is In A Nature’s Food It is To be eaten!! Full Stop!!

    ya if its sold at GNC for sure you can put it in you. We have a GNC on our base here so I mean if you can buy on base then its okay. I know they did just pull Novadex (on base) b/c a pilot got a false positive but protein and weight gainer wise you’re fine.

    just make a gallon of green tea in a milk jug with NO SUGAR and like 5 tea bags or so.. and add that to your shakes instead of water.. youll barely taste it and itll be super good for you.. thats what ive been doin.. itll be healthy as long as theres no added sugar

    Im a Marine employee and I’m wanting to bulk up mostly weight because im only 129 lbs but getting my 20 pullups 100 crunches and my mile and half in 9:17. Just wanting to know are almost all protein shakes and other forms of supplements allowed in the Marines as long as they are over the counter? Plz comment if u know.

    20 grams whey, 5 grams creatine, 2 packets of plain oatmeal(40 grams carbs), 5 grams each of taurine, creatine, and glutamine. you can substitute a carb powder for the oatmeal, just get the 2:1 carbs:protein.

    he definately has pretty good sized arms but i don’t think he looks very chizzled… it helps alot more if the guy who is advertizing looks like he has great muscles
