it’s very important in pilates to point those toes so that you work all the muscles in your leg. if you do it like that, not only you lose your tense in the muscles, but it can also harm your paw

Im a pilates beginner and my arms and legs are kinda muscular from other sports and i was wondering if these exercises will tone but make me slimmer.

I don’t think pilates will make your legs grow longer, I mean it will make your legs look slimmer, and slim legs look longer, but it wont really make your bones grow

muscles become defined by the type of activity and movement you do the most. football players and dancers have different body shapes. swimmers usually have large, defined shoulders and arms etc… pilates tends to shape your muscles a certain way too. so, yes, it would help. but it’s important to get variety of movement too
what if i already have kind of bulky muscles… would it help them become less bulky/leaner? (i just got it from sports like lacrosse and stuff)

you have to have muscle to have slim! muscle = slim. if you are asking if these will make you have big leg muscles, then no they wont! this workout will slim while toning. best of luck, xo, erin
